Reckless Stance Does Not Upgrade

<DIV>Out of curiousity, are you the minimum level to use the skill?  When I got adept 1 of reckless stance, it improved my defense by 2, but I have noticed that sometimes when you first get a skill, you don't get as big of an improvement until you level a little.</DIV>

<DIV>Ok, now answer me this.  Did you fully test the skill before and after?  When I upgraded, I buffed, hit 'L' to look at my defense rating prior to upgrading, then did it again after recasting it after upgrading.  I noticed that it did indeed improve my defense with adept.  Is it possible you only looked at the description of the skill in the examine box and assumed it was accurate?</DIV>

<DIV>That's quite wierd.  For me I gained 7 defense and lost 3 crushing/piercing/slashing.  With adept 1 I currently gain 9 defense and lose 3 crushing/piercing/slashing.  I'm level 39.</DIV>

He didnt ask a question, he stated that the upgrade does nothing. This is not the first post of his where is trying to convince us of his "knowledge".In a previous post he desperetly tried to convice the whole comunity that berserk mode lowers the defense.A lot of ppl , new ppl, low lvl ppl, read this board. Im tired of hearing his opinions on skills or game mechanics. The boy has no idea what he is talking about and i would like to see him stop "teaching" others .

Toxaur and Erick_Stormfury give it a rest. I've taken your tests and proven them wrong. Take mine and then come back on here.You don't take more damage by being berserk or being berserk twice. It is NOT true. Are either of you on Antonia Bayle? If so I want you to send me a tell so we can sit in the same group and parse each other. I have said this until I'm blue in the face but when you zerk the fight is over faster and you therefore take less damage. PROVE ME WRONG.If we were to believe your assertions there would never be any need or desire to zerk right? I mean if you're taking more damage then I assume you two never go zerk do you? Whatever. You guys know you zerk and you know you're full of it. I can't even believe your still posting this junk.It's to the point now where I wish a Dev would read this thread and tell you to sit down, have a coke, and shut up.And LauraG had a great point. I DID explained to you why you see the more damage.Seems you cant understand or something, so let me put it in caps:YOU GO INTO BERSERK MODE ONLY WHEN YOU GET HIT. WHEN YOU FIGHT A WEAKER MOB, YOU ONLY GET ONE BERSERK MODE , IF THAT BECAUSE OF THE LOW NUMBER OF HITS YOU TAKE.WHEN YOU FIGHT A BIGGER MOB , YOU GET HIT A LOT MORE, HENCE YOUR SKILLS PROC BERSERK TWICE.GETTING HIT MORE RESULTS IN YOU DYING FASTER. ALL YOU CAN THINK OF IS THAT IS BUGGED COUSE YOU SAW 2 BERSERK MODES WHEN YOU ACTUALY GET HIT TWICE AS MUCH AS IN THE FIRST FIGHT.Now, go back to testing , run a parser and look at the hits the mob does. You will see that you didnt get double the damage on the same skill, you just got hit twice as much as in the first fight.Just couse you see a mob the same lvl, doesnt mean all mobs are the same. Some are casters, some are melee. Some hit harder and faster than others.I know this doest mean anything, but ive been lv 50 for around 2 months, been in a lot of fights. Berserk mode doesnt lower your defence.
