<DIV>Does this class suck?  Im starting to wonder.  We cant tank as well as paladins, gaurdians, or shadow knights.  We dont do as much damage as rouge classes, or brawler classes.  I have even heard that some rouge classes tank better then us because of high agility.  Heres a few questions Im unclear about.  Please help me out if your a high lvl zerker.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>  </DIV>

Your equipment is inferior or you arent using your skills correctly. I can DPS higher all of but a few players on my server and I can tank as good as if not better then all but a couple ogre guardians on my server. I can out aggro absolutely everyone on my server (not always a good thing). I am the only lvl 50 zerker on the Neriak server. I am the only fighter class Ratonga I have ever seen. I am Feral, hear me RAWR ... sqUEEek!Its an old addage, its all about what you got and how you use it.

<DIV>Personally, I love this class.  Sure there are ideas that I don't like about the Berserkers, their skills, their role, blah blah blah.  My brother is a Paladin and we are both lvl 40.  He does the tanking, I do the spanking.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I pump everything into STR and AGI, but of course I still wear heavy armor for the AC, and I have a shield to swap out too, just incase things do get nasty.  Every time we party together, there is always atleast 1 person in my party who has a parser/combatstats and I always outdamage everyone, even Assassins/Rangers.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So yes, I do love the Berserker class.  And if SoE utterly destroys this class, then I'll probably still stick to it.  Asheron's Call 2 had huge nerfs...so I'm used to it.  Only difference is that AC2 FIXED their classes...</DIV>

<DIV>I love my Zerker!  I love hearing....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Cleric1 says "Who's the MT?"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Paladin 2lvls higher "Zerker...I can't keep aggro"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you are having a hard time tanking in a group, do 1 of the 2....</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>a. Get more DPS</DIV> <DIV>b. Get a better healer</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=3>Im 40 zerker now, and it just keep getting better and better. We tank just as well as anyone on most things.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3>I spent the last week or so in Rivervale as MT, tanking yellow mobs with 2hand axe, and no one complain a berserker can't tank good.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3>There is no significant increase in mana use for heals using 2h, I just use shield/sword for nameds or orange+ mobs.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3>Using Tides of war, Screaming fury, an Ancient slayer ring, and a berserk icon, im topping 100% haste all time and put out 80-100dps every fight. If you then have a chanter in group and can spam some more abilities at 130%+ haste and have encounter with 3-6 mobs, you'll match any scout dps out there.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3>Haven't had too much time spent with off-tanking with guardian, but I was in one group where i tested the new Anarchy skill you get at 40.4, and I cast this spell at mob's half health and in most cases pull aggro off guardian just using that spell. </FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3>So the aggro control of zerker are great, and just get better through the levels.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3>The only problem in soloing is that I just can't stop berserking, and if you have 2 berserk icons up, your health will drop alot faster.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT size=3>I spent a day soloing great briars in EL at lvl 39 (they are green ^^). Had to run from every fight using sword/shield, but with a 2hand and using no berserk skills, I have good amount of health left. On the other hand, a lvl 39 guardian in guild cannot solo a great briar in any way.</FONT></DIV>
