<DIV>best thing you can do is head back to SH and get another to drop and try it examining it to see if it picks up where the old one left off. if not, delete the quest and try to start it all over again. and if that doesnt work, sell it. should land ya a few gold.</DIV>

<DIV>You may try opening a CS ticket.  I remember in EQ1, I accidentally destroyed an item and i asked very politely and within a few days they restored it to me.  I don't know how busy the EQ2 CS people are, so it's possible they may be less inclined to help you out.</DIV>

<DIV>I still don't know why people want the EBBC so bad. All my weapons are better than EBBC and I didn't have to waste an ebon cluster. Try getting a pristine ebon forged leafblade and a pristine ebon forged sai if you don't have luck with raids/metal drops.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Green, first off, how do you figure ALL your weapons are better, i fail to believe that. the ebbc doesnt maximize until 53, so you CANNOT max them yet.  Other 50 zerkers have already piped up and said it one of the best weapons in game for them, so you must have the naggy loot i guess.  </DIV> <DIV>My guess is this: you said you didnt waste the ebon, so you HAVE NOT done the quest, so you really dont know what you're talking about maybe? I mean, you cant do any comparison testing to know.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But anyway, you talk about wasting an ebon, both of the weapons you said both require an ebon cluster to make, yeah they're nice, but i would love to see the parsing of that, because i seriously doubt they will outdamage the ebbc. anyway, if you're gonna get a weapon made why would you go with those? the pristine forged ebon mace is the best one made for us anyway. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>other 50 zerkers please feel free to chime in on this one, because the ones i've talked all use their ebbc's because you cant beat the dmg output.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Zizar on <span class=date_text>02-15-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:43 PM</span>

<DIV>Zizar,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My preference when playing DPS is DW and not a two hander.. So maybe I'm bias. I actually have not had any weapons made. I don't beleive they are good enough... Like I said, if you don't have access to raid mob loot, then the next best option is to get a tier5 weapon made by a WS. The only difference between ebbc and bbc is the proc.. And the proc is negioable.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But lets talk about ebbc..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Compare the ebbc stats to the heirocrook... If we don't take into account the proc, the stats are almost identical.. I guarantee you that if you use the heirocrook and than use the ebbc with a parser, you'll have very comparable dps (assuming your weapon skills are the same)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>We know for fact the heirocrook is a decent weapon but when you're 45+, you can always find a better weapon. Monks stop using crook when they can use fistwraps or cedar staffs, and I would hope warriors stop using ebbc when they are able to use tier5 weapons or raid loot. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Lastly, any weapon that drops off a metal chest will put ebbc to shame :smileysad:</DIV><p>Message Edited by snapgorth on <span class=date_text>02-16-2005</span> <span class=time_text>09:02 AM</span>

<DIV>I see what you're saying and good point on the raid/master chest loots, i guess the thing is, since they are extremely rare weapons, they are not common-knowledge like the EBBC or ebon weapons. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I do want to say this though, i do proc pretty frequently on the ebbc, and at around 81 per hit its adds up pretty nicely.  the 2nd thing is that we know we'll be going over level 50, and the ebbc doesnt max until lvl 53.  if you arent getting master chests or raid weapons(which most under 50 arent getting) then the feasible weapon of choice is ebbc.  </DIV>
