A few questions for the zerkers out there...

My berserker is very effective soloing solo mobs. I can do whites easily, while yellows usually require a rest period before I can fight again. The exp while soloing solo mobs is lousy though, so I group as often as possible. I don't think either class is really a solo class. To get decent solo exp, you still need to be fighting group mobs for the exp bonus. I can only solo 1 out of 10 ^^ group mobs, and they usually give about the same amount of exp as a white solo mob. So, I'd say if you want to really solo, you should probably choose another class, ranger maybe? I don't know.Shield, yes, get a shield for tanking in a group, it helps tremendously with damage taken. If I don't use a shield, I tend to dip into orange hitpoints occaisionally throughout fights, if I do use a shield, I stay in the green almost the entire fight. The extra 300 AC really makes fights safer, if you're not close to dying, you don't have to worry about a simple slip up killing you, and if you stay alive, the rest of the group is safe.
