Because when you check out the highest scores in a player in stationplayer it says there is a maximum melee hit and a maximum spell hit, even though its a mage or a fighter, do they call spells to skills or to magic? <BR>Still dont know much about that because I havent started yet <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />.</P> <P>Good Luck!<BR></P>

<DIV>I'm pretty sure that Int and Wis only affect your ability to resist magical attacks completely. Even though Equipment gives your resistances to spells I dont think these resistances completely resist the damage only Mitigate/lessen it. It'd make sense that it would work this way as it means that casters with higher Int/Wis would resist spells more often than Tanks and Scouts. Sort of the way it should be really. Tanks get the ability to Block / Parry / Avoid melee attacks so Casters ( Healers included ) should be better at resisting Magical attacks.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I'm not sure though, just the vibe I'm picking up from various threads around the forums I've been reading.</DIV>
HOs are classed as spells I believe, for the purpose of the EQ2players stats.
