Hello,

In every other MMO I've played, fighters have the hardest time finding groups b/c there are so many of them floating around. This is my fav class, so you can imagine my frustration. I don't mind grouping (although soloing is great fun too) but I'm wondering if EQII is better at pairing tanks with parties, or do you spend most of your time sitting with your LFG flag up? That's the main reason I've quit every other MMO I've played. Whats it like out there for Guardians?

Thanks in advance.

If you want to have groups, start them. That is what I have always done and it has worked pretty consistantly for me for ever.

Being the main tank, find a healer and start duoing while you look for DPS classes to join you.

I see people all the time LFG and no one picking them up. The problem for most folks is that they don't want to start groups, they want to join them.

So spam this instead: Guardian (or Tank) looking for healer and DPS for XP group. Send tells for invites. In the meantime, if others are posting LFG in the channels / OOC then send them a tell and see if you can get them into YOUR group.

If no healers are available, grab whoever is LFG and just start killing stuff you can handle while you look for a healer.

If you just spam LFG in the channels and wait passively for someone to invite you to a group, you can wait a long time sometimes. Other times, you will be in great demand, since tanks, especially good tanks are hard to find at low levels.

Put people on your friends lists that you want to group with again and keep making up the same groups as much as you can.

I hope that helps you.

Good hunting.

For straight LFG tanks don't have that bad of time. THe above psoter did mak ea few good recommendations but overall so long as you play on one of the heavier populated servers finding a group shouldn't be that bad.

Now if you want to raid your in a totally different position. Most serious raiding guilds only bring at most 3 plate tanks on a raid a guardian, a berserker and either an sk or pally. So if your end goal is to raid I'd recommend a different class.
