Another 10% is available in the Guard Tree though.Add on top of that the acceleration strike, not really sure how much that increases haste with 4 levels in itIt's around 25-30 point increase... the actual haste depends on how much haste you already have... (diminishing returns)Any advice?Well, since I don't play on a PvP server, my PvP knowledge is very limited. But I do think offense is the best defense...Did you consider the STR Line? Crit Chance and Hate increase? Not sure whether hate increase works in PvP battles though...Another factor is whether you are a Qeynos or Freeport Guard imo... Personally, I always like to have a Chanter in my grp... Since "I think" you can only grp with classes of the same alignment, I would choose what my Chanter doesnt have... Coercer has +dps so I would choose haste. Illusionist has haste, so I would choose dps...Just some thoughts

What i've found out so far in pvp is the wisdom line is great but the belly smash is hit or miss. You need to knock the target down and then use the CA belly smash. This poses a problem becuase if you don't or can't charge the target immediatly you can't get the belly smash off and have to wait until the knockdown repops. In PVE it's great becuase the mobs don't fly back, but like I mentioned the knockback makes it difficult to land sometimes. That's 1vs1.

In a group scenario it gets even tougher to accomplish that task. I tried the stamina line and I loved the buckler, and I've heard people saying that the 5-7% drop in avoidance (no sure exactly on the drop) doesn't make a real difference. Personally, I feel it does make a huge difference when you are taunting EVERY person in that group on you. That buckler reversal will work every 30 seconds, so for the next 2 minutes of that fight you are fighting with less avoidance.

I've gone all the way down the str line, and wasn't happy with the last box, rarely do i get into the red in pve and when i'm in the red in pvp i'm trying to survive at that point. The crit +22% is very nice, +30% dmg. At this point I'm 4/4/8 in the STR line, that extra CA from Executioner's wrath is nice. I was 4/8/8, and although the description on excecutioners wrath says 100% crit and duration is 10 seconds, I believe you only get 1 crit. Not once Have i seen 100% crit after using the AA with more than 1 CA.

The DPS mod from the wisdom line is great. I'm now only 4/1 in the wisdome line and i might go 4/4/6 or 8 later on.Typically what i try to do is belly smash, unload all of my CA's while that bebuff is on and when i start having to cycle through the others and i'm doing more auto attack I use the int line haste mod. When belly smash does land and you use your few high dmg CA's to follow up right behind it it puts a little fear in whomever you are hitting, big spike for a guardian imo.

In the int line i'm 4/8/4, i can get haste upwards 50%+ when rings proc and such. I'ts good for PVE and keeping aggro without using much power.

All in all I'd go as offensive as you can until later on when you think you might be a raid tank and want to change it all. I've heard 16 in str, 16 in stam, and 16 in int or wis was the most offensive you can get.

Another note, if I'm in a group my double attack didn't work so well after debuffs, defensive stance and all that was on me. I hit less and in turn double attacked less. I haven't done it yet, but i want to parse how much dmg i actually do in pvp group/pvp 1vs1 in auto attacks. It's my belief that it's not that much. In big pve fights i'm sure it's pretty high, but these pvp fights are pretty quick to end sometimes.

Id place executioners wrath+obliterate before doing the knocksown+bellysmash combo. obliterate makes sure belly lands pretty much every time even if you only have 4 points in it.
