Has anyone else had a significantly harder time keeping aggro in Emerald Halls than any other raid zone/encounter? I don't know what it was but I had the same raid setup, same AAs, and same weapon as every other zone but just kept losing aggro. :/ <div></div>

<DIV>I have no problems with agro there. My taunts are all landing as normal, but what really helps is the 1500+ dps I am doing nearly every trash encounter. You might wanna try to get better DPS buffs in the MT group for that raid, it will help keep agro a lot better.</DIV>
Some mobs, like Tender, have multiple mem wipes, mem switches.

Thanks for the tips, what AA setup you go with to get that 1500 dps, stick with the buckler and stack a dirge/coercer?<div></div>

Besides that I have a coercer for hategain/DPS buff, a dirge for general defensive buffs, hategain, CoB for haste/dmg. I am also wearing my DT accessreward for some more Haste. With the 76% double attack from STA line and 10% extra from the EoF AA's, I am at a constant 86% double attack, 89 DPS, 26? Haste. This is allready quite nice for DPS'ing with a good weapon. My weapon is the Hammer of Ancient Energy (drops of Matron) with a tauntproc, with the double attacks and low delay/haste it procs like mad and I am meleeing for 1.5-2k and up to 3k crits.

You are probably better off getting 888 in STA and put the remaining point in STR or WIS whatever. Yeah I was towershield for a long time, it gave me more mitigation (main reason) and block (avoidance). But since mitigation is totally [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]ed up, and avoidance is the way to go, I decided to stop my mit (went from 5.8k selfbuffed to 4.7k or so) and go for DPS/Avoidance spec, which was bucklers.<BR>Towershield was nice before the combat change but got useless recently. With the towershield I blocked more attacks so I take less damage from orange con mobs, but that is also useless now because the orange cons were made easier and I don't take much damage, and I have allmost 15k HPs raidbuffed.<BR><BR>Main reason I switched back to buckler was the recent combat changes.<BR>
