The mititgation cap was lowered from 80% to 75%. Along with that you need to hit 10500 mitigation to get 75%. The old mit cap was easily attainable especially with the overpowered Claydmore mit items. AKA wasn't much fun for the high end people sitting at max cap. The diminishign returns was either a huge nerf or a good thing , depending who you ask. I like it because it's not easy to get the cap anymore so its fun looking at all the possible upgrades. Some will say the more casual tanks can reach 50% easy now but I don't care. I believe its around 4k, where your at around 50% mit, the dimishing curve coems into play. Youll need 6k+ to get the last 25% mit. Means you need 25% more mitigation piled on to get the effect of only half the mit you got from just 4k earlier in the cruve. Depending where on the curve you are the short term mit buffs are different. Activating your short mit buffs when your over 50% mit has very little effect on mit. Avoidance and HP have become much more sought after since mitigation seems almost pointless to pile on.<div></div>
