Nope. Only regarding nerfing tanking in cloth directly, with apparently no realisation it was a symptom of a far more major problem.

<DIV>I don't think mitigation is broken right now it working the way SOE wanted eg if your mitigation went from 3k to 6k your time to live has gone up by 50% (before EoF it was more than 50%).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But what is broken is our two 30s mitigation buffs in that their effectives has vastly gone down now they are pretty worthless.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The way i understood things was that heals/wards other fighters have were sort of substitute for the short term mitigation buffs we had eg they reduced incoming damage by healing we (Warriors) reduced it my mitigating.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But our 30s buffs no longer helps us at all to mitigate damage since they only give about 3% - 4% more.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So i think SoE need to buff our 30s buffs to say something like 2k mitigation each so that we can mitigate something like 7% - 10%.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<div>I don't know loostsandman don't you think the real problem is the fact that the softcap is entirely too low? Just look at the kind of mit you can achieve naked still with only priest buffs. The reason our short term are so ineffective is because we hit the softcap with our gear so easily.Making them 2k really only makes the problem that much worse IMO. I would still like there to be meaning in our upgrades.<blockquote><hr>lostsandman wrote:<div>I don't think mitigation is broken right now it working the way SOE wanted eg if your mitigation went from 3k to 6k your time to live has gone up by 50% (before EoF it was more than 50%).</div> <div> </div> <div>But what is broken is our two 30s mitigation buffs in that their effectives has vastly gone down now they are pretty worthless.</div> <div> </div> <div>The way i understood things was that heals/wards other fighters have were sort of substitute for the short term mitigation buffs we had eg they reduced incoming damage by healing we (Warriors) reduced it my mitigating.</div> <div> </div> <div>But our 30s buffs no longer helps us at all to mitigate damage since they only give about 3% - 4% more.</div> <div> </div> <div>So i think SoE need to buff our 30s buffs to say something like 2k mitigation each so that we can mitigate something like 7% - 10%.</div> <div> </div><hr></blockquote></div>

Making them work as Percentages is the absolute best sollution. I posted a thread in general discusion tearing into Dev's about this specificaly.Having mitigation buffs work on percentages also fixed the tanking naked bug. Since if Command And Wall of Force upped by a percentage of base mitigation, then having no armor on would make the buffs nearly useless.I also believe the curve is a bit off. It ramps up just a tad too fast and peaks about 1000 mitigation early. It isn't really affecting us all that bad, but chain classes get the shaft. Wearing chain, you get crap for avoidance, chain classes don't get gear with +defense +parry, etc very often, so thier avoidance is very low compared to plate classes, and thier mitigaiton is in the tank. Many leather classes now have self mitigation numbers within a couple hundred points of chain, and where that hits in the curve is very little difference in actual mitigaiton.Anyway, yes, please change short term self and group mitigation to be based upon a percentage of the casters base mitigation (un-buffed, gear based mitigation).Fixes a number of issues, and allows avoidance to go back to being armor type locked rather than class locked.<div></div>

With full armor: 100%I could be wrong though (wouldnt be the 1st and wont be the last <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> )</div>

It's great how they're nerfing the symptoms whilst avoiding the problem completely =/
