<div></div>Hey hey all,Went through Obelisk of Blight last night for the first time.Group was the following:<blockquote>70 Guardian (me)70 Berserker70 Necromancer70 Ranger70 Mystic69 Warden</blockquote>Not overly high on the damage scale, but still worked pretty well till we got to the last mob.The last mob beat me like I wasn't wearing armor.  We eventually got him, but had to have the necro fear the named and root him.  I was quite surprised actually.  So here's my question...What strategies do any of you have for attempting this guy?Is there something in my gear that needs to change? You can see my profile <a href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/characters/character_profile.vm?characterId=284828102" target="_blank">HERE</a>I'm not wearing bad gear.  Some legendary, all buffs and most CAs are Adept III.  The guild I'm in doesn't raid, but we are starting to change in that thinking and with me being the only Guardian in the guild they are expecting me to tank for them.  Now if I have problems with a 72^^^ heroic with two adds.  I'm concerned that I'm going to be less than effective as a MT for a raid. <div></div>

That's a little surprising with both a Mystic and a Warden, but yes that guy hits hard.  I usually run through Obelisk with one healer and heavy dps and he's beat me down more often than not, but usually he's almost dead when I go down and the Brig tanks him the rest of the way or the dps kites him.  Point is, I don't know why exactly but he is tough.Don't let it concern you in terms of raid tanking ... I tank the KoS raid zones regularly with no problems.<div></div>

The last named is a simple fight if you understand the tactic. On pull he spawns 2-3 dopplegangers.  These dopplegangers have relatively low hit points but hit for 1100-1600 / swing.  Add this in with his 2 natural adds, and his own dammage, and you've got un-sustainable dammage comming at you.Tactic is simple.PullPlantEVERYONE use PBAoE's, all you haveNow fight the name like any other you would fight. From what I've seen  the dopplegangers seem to avoid encounter based AoE, but this isn't 100% verified.Thats the tactic we use, and we often do it with just a level 63 warden as the healer. If you prevent the additional dps of the dopllegangers, its a simple fight.<div></div>

Ahh, so those dopplegangers are the damage that I was takin.  That's good to know.  This gives me a new tactic when it comes to those mobs.  <div></div>
