Considering that the max mitigation you can get is 10,500 which equals 75% and considering at under 4000 for a lvl 70 character is 50% mitigation, what sort of rate of return for the over 6500 points to get that last third of mitigation were you expecting? You may not like the idea of diminishing returns, but this is how it works. Its easy to get mitigation value up to a certain point and then it ramps up, getting less mitigation for even more points acquired. Unfortunately, I think it is working as intended.

Whenever I'm able to upgrade one of my fabled raid gear, I manage to get a 50 mitig upgrade. It used (pre EoF) to make me happy since it would translate into a 0.7% damage reduction. Post EoF it is translated into a very effective 0.1%... I'm SO happy to raid. Thank you Dymus for this wonderfull transformation in my game play. I was probably having too much fun before, it's now back to a decent level, where I enjoy my mother in low chats :smileysad:

Being unhappy with the change is not the same as thinking it is broken.

And I just wish raid armor mitigation will be aligned with the new return curve (ie. provides a larger gap compared to legendary/mastercraft).

I think your supposed to get more excited about picking up HP, Parry, Defense, STA, STR, melee skills, and soon to be agression bonuses. And much less concerned about mitigation.Keep in mind you want to get your defensive skills atleast 30 points over cap for debuffs (more the better), and increases to HP are much more important now. I believe the intention of agression is to make dps an even smaller factor to agro than it currently is. Increasing aggresion will likely trump increasing dps in threat maintenance.Phatty mitigation just isn't what it once was, which really I can live with. Here is the deal though, I think this was put in to provide more meaning to very end game players, so that thier gear added more meaning, and there was benefit to getting the uberest loots. Providing more seperation from the best raid tank on a server to the more casual player.I've personally found it to have done quite the opposite, as my alt 70 guard can now tank labs with 2 healers. Putting the right AA in the right places, and picking up the right gear (often not what was thought of as the best options) made it a cakewalk.<div></div>
