Belly smash - hammers

Does any crush weapon work with bellysmash? I just got a staff yesterday, didnt have time to test it yet.. but the description says "if great hammer, hammer or .."<div></div>

I've always used belly smash with hammers and maces, never tried with a staff.  But I don't think it works with them.  When you inspect an item, it shows the weapon type.  For staves, I'm pretty sure it doesn't say "Hammer" or "Great Hammer" <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> -Kubik<div></div>
