<P>1) Get a 35 m bow, leave the 45 m bow(s) to the rangers.</P> <P>2) Any bow appropriate to your level. Guessing the bow for pulls, as oppose to DPS. So almost any bow will work.</P> <P>3) Get arrows appropriate to your level and tier you are on. If you're going to shoot something, better chance of hitting it. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>4) Bow pulling is ok to use in big open areas, where social aggro is lessen. Body pulling is currently the norm in dugeons and/or other tight areas with lots of mobs. The use of a bow where multiple social aggros overlap, can be a very bad thing indeed.</P> <P>Currently I body pull (and/or cast an aggro spell) on 90% or so of the pulls, and a bow on less than 10%. At one point in EQ2, I used the bow to pull more like 90% of the time. But that all changed with Social Aggro.</P>

<DIV>Very good post, Aven.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just to expand a little bit.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If your working on skillups, go with the fastest/shortest delay bow you can get your hands on to start up'ing your skill a bit. After you've capped out or gotten bored, switch to whatever bow gives you either range, stats or both.</DIV> <DIV><BR>While your skilling up, crap 1c arrows should be sufficient. Stock up on the good arrows once you've gotten your skill level to a respectable level.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Everything else Aven said was right on the money. If the perma rooted mob in Nek Castle is still the same, visit him and plunk down arrows on him for a few AFK hours. That might help keeping you sane.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Good luck!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Xeni</DIV>

Just one thing to add...Most of the time you get only one shot in. That means the actual delay of the bow isn't important to you "reload"-wise.But the bow with the longer delay has a higher hit than an equal DR bow with a lower delay. So: the higher your delay, the higher your hit. And that's what you need <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<P>Only bow you need is Rain Caller really. Definitely the best for heroics - shield bash, jump back, fire an arrow and fair (~25%) chance you'll follow the shield bash stun with another 5-second stun. It's like having an extra CA.</P>
