<DIV>Hey all,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Just curious as to how many of the MT guards are doing with STA/WIS build now. I'm predominantly relic with some true fabeled thrown in. My guild and I went through Labs and certainly felt the changes (family guild). Got through 3/4 and had to call it a day. Whereas, we usually clear it. I bounced between using my tower shield and the buckler just to compare the two. Felt as though I really needed the extra avoidance/defense of the tower to help out my healers. Anyone else encountering this? I'm seriously thinking of going back to STR/WIS and just sticking with the tower shield.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I had to go with the defensive MT grp with 3 healers, paly, and coercer. Two healers just didn't seem to cut it. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Or should I just bide my time with what I have and hope Sony tunes the zones? Whatcya think?</DIV>

I beta tested several of the builds...needless to say soon as EoF came out I respeced to Str/Wis. Now Sony just needs to fix the [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] epic encounters in KoS. /sigh another example on what happen's when Sony releases a expansion. <div></div>

I (70 guard) run with 70 warden/70 necro/70 dirge/70 conj. I use the wis/sta build, and have had no issues tanking the heroic instances in the EoF expansion (acedachism, blight, valdoon). I find that on occassion I have to equip my tower shield and use ToS, but for the most part can do it all just with the buckler. I don't raid, so I can't speak to that end of it. I have a few fabled pieces that I was able to buy, and other than that legendary equipment.
I'm going to stay with the STA/WIS AAs for the time being. However, this weekend I'm going to buy a trait respec. My AGI is pretty low. I've been wanting to change some of my xxx Masters Rages around, but I'm also going to take the AGI boosts instead of STA boosts. As we're supposed to see large gains for the low stat numbers (opposed to small gains for high numbers), I'm interested to see what happens to my avoidance. The first few respecs ought to be cheap enough that it'll be no problem to switch back if it doesn't pan out.

Going from 254 AGI to 266 AGI gained me 0.3% avoidance. Good thing the first respec was free, 'cause the next one will be cheap.
