<DIV>well im guessing a lot of players have got no real idea about the new adornment system and the benefits you can get from it, so im gonner complile as much info as i can do and keep adding it to this thread as we go along.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><IMG src="http://www.eq2forsaken.com/coppermine/albums/userpics/10013/EQ2_000160.jpg"></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>ok first off, anyone can make a transmuter, there the people who turn items into the components that tradeskillers need to actually craft the adornment.</DIV> <DIV>So every single tradeskiller in the game gets a set of recipe books T1 to T7 ...they dont need to learn transmuting at all. all they need is to be high enough tradeskill level and the ingredients from a transmuter.</DIV> <DIV>to get the ingrediants for adornments you need to give your transmuter, gear / equipement , adepts / masters from what ever tier you want the adornment making, so you want a T6 adornment making you would use T6 loot ...T7 you use T7 loot. </DIV> <DIV>the transmuter then transmutes this into several things for T7 its: Illusionary powder / Lunar Fragement / Hardened Mana / Infusion of Illusion.</DIV> <DIV>Each recipe requires a mix of various ingredients.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The helm and Shoulders adornment shown above is made by a Tailor (Scintillating Epiphanic and Scintillating Rugged straps)</DIV> <DIV>The adornments on the wrist slot items is made by a Carpenter (Scintillating Reinforced backing)</DIV> <DIV>The weapon Adornment is made by an Alchy (need to get the name for this one)(edited hahah it says it on the piccy..ahh well)</DIV> <DIV>The Chest Adornment is made by and Alchy (Scintillating Prismatic appllique) </DIV> <DIV>there all T7 adornments</DIV> <DIV>as i get more ill add them to this post,</DIV> <DIV>hope some of you find this info helpful.</DIV><p>Message Edited by TheEasternKing on <span class=date_text>11-18-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:48 PM</span>

<P>Awesoem thread got a question</P> <P>Are these the best adornments for stuff? Cause a lot of these adornemnts are treasured and legendary? FOr example the +150 Health for rings is t5 treasured stuff I was wondering if there was higher health you can get or is that the max?</P>

first question... are the adornments themselves lore, or can you have more than one of the same kind... i really dig that regen III one is why i ask... second, can they be equipped in any slot? or just to specific slots? IE, is it labled chest armor only, or leg armor only, or whatever? <div></div>

No the adornments are not lore BUT they are slot specific i will try and dig out a list of them and who makes what.

<DIV>Good info. I tried to put the +400 hitpoint adornment on my dragonscale spaulders and it wouldn't work. Any idea about that?</DIV>

Certain items don't take adornments - mainly Claymore rewards. Whether this is a bug, or the devs way of trying to rebalance the rather overpowered Claymore rewards (the shoulders, for example, are worn by the vast majority of plate tanks, and have extremelty good stats), remains to be seen.

Here is the link I use for adornment lists, by slot <a href="http://siufu.net/diary/eof.htm" target=_blank>http://siufu.net/diary/eof.htm </a>The phantom handle (power tap) proc someone showed, is actually made by a transmuter, not an alchy btw <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

I can understand this nerf for the +400 items, given thier quality tree. However the nerf to the 100/100 ring items that are of FABLED tier was uncalled for! These are really hard to get, require destroying atleast 5 t6 fabled drops to make, and are not *over* powered. However now its a 35/35 imbue of FABLED quality. But you can pick up a 70hp or 70power TREASURED one for the same slot. This is total BS, and needs to be addressed. A treasured augment should not be better than a FABLED one.<div></div>
