Greetings,A quick question. Is there a way to compare a 2 handed item to a dual wield item in terms of which is superior in damage? IE a  2 handed weapon with a 49.5 Rating vs a pair of dual weild weapons with 30.3 rating. Thank you in advance for any insights.<div></div>

I've heard of a couple formula's, but basicly the sum of the two dual weapons taken times .75 gives you a decent number for comparing the two types of weapons. So 2 weapons of approx 30 dps would = 60, take 60 times .75 = 45dps so you would need a two hander with 45dps to compare, roughly. And thats assuming equal skills and no aa advanages. So the two hander you listed does slightly edge out the duals, but it's not a large margin so I doubt you'd notice a big difference. Although dual weapons give you more rolls to hit and will often show better consistancy in parses, a single slower weapon can help decrease auto attack damage lost if you have long cast ca's. Longer delay weapons can allow the cast to occur between swings rather then instead of a swing. Hope this info helps. <div></div>
