Kudos to you for completeing the Claymore line!

The rewards are critical to a good tank setup, but the time it takes and the repetive nature of the quest borders on putting anyone who does it into a nervous breakdown. Just when you thought the last step was bad the next blows your socks off!

Only a few weeks before EoF release wait and see what comes out of that. In the meantime I would inquire or even start a Labs trash raid (non named) to put yourself in line with possibly recieveing some relic drops.

Rahge

time to head to nizara...there are some good jewelry items for tank (a wrist and earring (don't forget you will get a second slot with EoF)...only problem is that is time consuming (at least 3 hours maybe a little less) and you need the perfect group set up

Yes, it's very unfortunate that almost all SOE games seem to be geared towards those players that can spend many hours playing or raiding.Unfortunately, for those of us (I include myself in this group) the only option we have is to hope for new expansions that might give us the chance to upgrade our gear without spending so many hours in the game.

I am far away from full fabled and my Guild is still at the beginning of T7 Raiding although we are progressing nicely the past weeks (We tickled Vyemm already although his laughter wiped us )

I started tanking Labs with treasured stuff and would have dreamed about the equipment you have now.

If you don't raid tank, you don't need fabled armor... if you don't raid, relic is totally uber for what you encounter in your solo or grp travels.

Having the possibility to farm Labs even as a non Raider is a present in my opinion.

I love the gear I see on other Tanks, I want it as well.

But at the moment and at the stage we are at, Raids don't fail because of my equipment. Raids fail because we lack dps, have bad streaks or our classes present don't bring the right mix.

Repeating myself: You don't need fabled for legendary content.

I miss the day's when you saw a master chest it was an actual event, now we see so many that we complain about the gear inside of them.

The game has some content that is aimed at those who can spend many hours playing, with rewards appropriate to the effort. It also has other content that does not require as much effort, which gives lesser rewards. That seems right to me.

Dont get me wrong, I understand that the rewards should be in the time spent and places been, I however am looking for the new carrot to dangle in front of my nose to inspire me.

I understand you dont need fabled gear to tank single group content, though every time I offer my services as a Niz tank I get knocked back cos my gear is "poor" (yeah right) but this just means I have to get a few friends and go try it myself.

The original post was just another way for me to find those drops that I want to go chase after. It was not intended as a dig at the time sink element of the game, lets face it 5 years of EQ and 3 of EQ2, I am either stupid, or I understand the requirements. I prefer to think I understand, though some of my RL friends who no longer play would prefer to place me in the stupid catagory.

Kanamorf

Lizurd
