Does anyone have tips or strats on positioning Lord Vyemn, he seems awfully buggy and seems to disapear into the ceiling and walls constantly when we try him.

<DIV>Once you pull him to your set spot, he should never actually move after that. He'll swivel around due to mem-wipe, but if you don't get aggro back fast enough and people get knocked around, you're in trouble.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>People do it all sorts of ways, but like with most dragons, positioning is everything, and once you get him in place, ensure he does NOT move at all. And yes, Vyemm can be difficult with pathing and geometry glitches, so it's a certainly challenging encounter.</DIV><p>Message Edited by Tyrion on <span class=date_text>10-15-2006</span> <span class=time_text>11:03 PM</span>

<DIV>I use to pull vymm with my conjurer. basicly i just had everyone stand away so there was just a clear shot from me and vymm and the tank usualy waited till he was just about on me before he would tank him off me and it seemed to work everytime to he was in the room. but all you really have to do is wait till you see vymms mid section into the room then pull him and he should be into the wall and not be stucked into the wall..</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Airies/Exacutionar</DIV>

<DIV>I stand to the left of the stairs and we pull him down to us, as soon as he is fully in taunt range i pop him one and step in to the corner.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I then proceed to have me and my friends stab him with pointy sticks till he falls over dead.</DIV>

How long to you need to establish and lock agro in the corner?  Aside from memwipes, he still seems to twitch around and go for tasty treats other than the MT.  I don't know if others need to slow down their dps or give the MT more time off the get go.I haven't tried it but I have been wondering if he can be pet pulled into the eye room but have the MT fight him on the stairs so only his [Removed for Content] is pointing into the eye room instead.  If he was still considered in sight for everyone behind him it seems it would be easier to keep everyone out of his frontal and make him less twitchy... unless he punts the MT way up and beyond the stairs I guess <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> .When he starts to switch targets or twitch around I think it is hell on those with laggier systems or connections which leads to other bad things happening.  Keeping him focused on the MT and not moving around has been difficult from the little I've seen of Vymm.<div></div>

<DIV>As a MT -- you should be running ACT and keeping track of AE timers (even if your not calling them for your guild).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you feel his frontal is imminent -- and he currently is not facing the right way, then you should take the opportunity to burn a rescue/reinforcement.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All other times, it really doesn't matter what way he is facing, or who he is potentially attacking/killing.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Save your rescues for when they are important.</DIV>

<DIV>Ok lucky friend here is my input.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Best spot to tank him and off course with a Coercer.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Last room, by the eyes. Left Corner of the room toward Vyemm direction.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Tank Must position Vyemm Diagonal, hit Plant as soon he have it positioned. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Raid Force is positioned Side opposite of the Tank location for tanking. Tank stand like 10 M outisde the hallway in that deep room and as soon he taunts move to the corner quickly. When he position correctly he hit Plant.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Coercer need to be with Raid Force Position and create a macro to memwipe the Alzid Prime.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My friend if you follow it, and your healer do good group heals he die first pull.</DIV>
