Some members in my guild have been running logs for the T7 bosses and they are bringing up some disturbing possibilites to me. They are saying alot of the T7 raid encounters we fight are totally immune to taunts. Any of you other tanks that are currently doing this Tier content seeing this? They are saying alot of the T7 end bosses resisted my inflaming Defense buff 100% of the time as well as my other pure taunts. Kind of puts a huge damper on us if our confront, protection, and our reactive taunts are always getting resisted. As a guardian on a pvp server I really feel sorry for the Qeynos based guilds that do not get the benifit of assasin's and coecer's for aggro generation on these types of encounters. It also sheds light on why on the pvp server's Qeynos is struggling so hard on T7 raiding guilds and as a result having a lower playerbase in general...

ya I made them upload the log files so I could download them and look at them. Your right for the most part. On the Priestess though (in Lyc) my hold the line was getting crazy resists. I think its everything to do with it being a T6 spell and the fight being lvl 74+.

I've noticed those drakes resist as much as players do in PVP. Opening with Vindictive Strike will help a bit if you really need the taunt to land.

What you may be seeing is that only the resists get picked up by ACT. I've never personally dug through the logs to see what, if anything, gets logged when taunts, etc. don't get resisted.

For the drakes (and other highly taunt resistent mobs) just open with a bow attack, or, perfereably, for the ones you don't need to range pull, besiege and the other heavy attacks. My healers die a lot less these days on the opening of those encounters.....

Snorm -- 70 Guard
