Long story short, I'm re-gathering a raid force...but am short a MT. I ahve the funds/time to possibly OUTFIT a MT however. THIS is what I'm wondering from you guys: 1. Best AA's (in general) for a guardian raid MT? 2. Best basic gear (excluding raid zones) for a guardian raid MT? a. rings b. bracelets c. necklace d. feet e. Forearms (the guardian i'm looking at has decent gear in the rest of the spots) And any other general advice i should look at when trying to find a decent MT for a raiding force.

quick break down of stuff.. As far as the AA path either the STR/WIS or the AGI/WIS or the STA/WIS lines are the way to go.For gear the link has it all pretty much all the plate stuff from HoF, rings from Den, Plate from PoA dragons, Buckler from HoF or from Iron Fang in PoA (if goign buckler line which is sta line) the grizzlefazzle quest for shield and the hooluk hat

All the below can be acquired with 1 group:

Rings: Light Chitin x 2 or Light Chitin and Dark Chitin

Bracelets: Aviak Feather Charm (collection quest reward) and Dragonscale Bracelet (Qeynos Claymore quest reward)

Necklace: Acid Flecked Necklace from the Librarian in Vaults.

Feet: Dark Majestic Sabatons from HoF

Forearms: Awakened Scalelord

AA: str 4,4,8,8 wis 4,5,8,8

Once you get better geared, i would suggest str 4,4,8,8 sta 4,4,8,8

Hope this helps

While you did say "excluding raid zones" get yourself into the daily lab-trash raids on your server. All it takes is 12 good players, even less if they know what they're doing. A good group can clear every single trash mob in labs (no named). Do this once a night for a couple weeks and you'll end up with some nice relic armor depending on how hot your dice are

Trash runs are also an excellent way to learn the very basics of raiding. If you havent been a MT on many raids you'll learn and see alot of things like how to body pull certain mobs, proper group balancing and so on. After you collect enuf pieces of relic armor you can go from MA to MT and hold your own trash runs.

In the meantime do claymore and run all the instances as often as possible. If something drops better than what you have, wear it.

Message Edited by BeatinGuts on 09-26-2006 10:18 PM
