Claymore end Item Choice

<DIV>Just switched over to my Guardian and should have him finished up with his quest this week or next.  Wondering would it be more useful to go with the one hander reward since I went the buckler line and dont use a Tower shield the full fight hardly if ever.  Villucidae's Tower shield seems just as good stat wise and hope to pick that up here soon to have let me know your guys thoughts and if anyone else decided this route.  I just cant really justify the shield if i barely have it equipped.</DIV>

hard to say i dont remember if the tower shield from claymore a stone skin or just a magic ward. with the huge 17 page long post about a fabled buckler that got derailed into a nerf stam aa line it wouldnt be surprising to see Gaige achieve his goal and get us nerf because we didnt meet his point of view <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> anyway i d say if you are really going buckler go for the rapier. villucidae towershield is quite nice already if you decide to respect for any other line.

The Qeynos Guard is probably the coolest looking shield in the game.  I would take it for that reason alone.  Also it never hurts to have more towers around for ToS.  The one hander isnt that great in my opinion.  Lots of other weapons out there to chose from.

true but remember that it s always good to have 1 type of weapon for the nasty immune to slashing or crushing mobs <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> so rapied is i think the only 1hander piercing fabled from t7 <div></div>

<P>Well there is the one hand piercer off of Venekor that is nice but since he only coughs up one loot per run its rare to get got only 2 so far in months of killing him now.  As for ToS I got oodles of adamantine shields made up for that specially on the pulls so I try not to use my good shield for that ability.  It probably will be a in the moment type choice i will look at the rewards for sometime I bet before I actually decide. </P> <P>Also what is this of nerfing buckler line is it just the normal people complaining about it or actual proof from a dev saying they are looking at it.  I hope not I was reluctant to go this route for the sheer fact that a buckler on my barbarian just looks silly while tanking but I am enjoying more and more each day.</P>

<P>considering there are already several fabled tower shields, and you're buckler line...  the 2H looks cool, but who needs anymore of those???  the 1H is a weak weapon...  gofor the DW just to have one <img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> (its more fun to tease scouts with items than it is tanks)...</P> <P>if you just going for looks the towershield hands down...</P>
