I'm on a pvp server so I have many bucklers for their resists they give. Ironplate shielding is good vs slashing mobs and mental/poison. Enameled Buckler of the Witchdoctor good vs cold/heat/poison based. Azjer'orz Guard is my main buckler good vs melle based or when your MTing.  Has  the most protection and +5 defense. <div></div>

Here's a question related to buckler use when comparing stats.  How much do you value mitigation over avoidance?  I hold mitigation more valuable, but by how much I am unsure.  I use my Ironplate Buckler all the time. The Azjerorz Guard buckler I keep as a backup, but I rarely bring it out of my backpack.  I have to agree with Burno's comment above.  I think the Archaic Buckler is the best one I've seen.  I look forward to getting that one still.<div></div>

My defense is always capped.. so the +5 defense on the Azje-whatever's sheild is worthless as it doesn't improve avoidance at all. Ironplate all the way.. at least til you can get ones from raids.<div></div>
