I've had my group setup so I had 7000 mitigation, without any HO's or potions, got the potions up and some HO's, temp-mit buffs, but never got above 10k Was at like 9950, I should have a screenshot of the 7k somewhere.

It's Thor UI. Thats the UI mod i use. Ok, but it doesn't have all the flashy stuff some other mods have.

I can also get a average of 7k mitigation on raids, on most named i can stay right near 8k mitigation with very little time between self buffs where i'm back at 7k. Not sure how much it helps vs. the hardcap/softcap stuff but it looks pretty..

If you just try for the highest mitigation all the time, even going way over the cap, then you're making decisions that are hurting you either in hate gain or max health, so you're a worse tank than someone better informed that balances it all out so they can cap out their mitigation and get the most max health and hate gain through AAs as possible.

- Rorrak

We were just fooling around in a group environment...

As far as my stats... Look at my resist and agility and avoidance. remember this isn't a raid setup, just a group environment.. yea...

Templar warden in the group and i think i was at around 10.8khp, 8 AA's in Hate gain, 8 AA's in mitigation. So there ya go.

Like i said this was a "Fun" post and wanted to see if anyone else can recreate it... I have. but only hit 10.5k so i missed like 600 mitigation somewhere..

Just remember this was for fun, so just post a pick of your mitigation there Rorrk and lets have some good laughs at all this mitigation we can get but can't use.

BTW, Rorrak, whats that .exe file that is trying to run off your website there?

Message Edited by Aaeamyen on 08-26-2006 03:47 PM
