PvP Guardians and PvP Gear

Just wondering what you guys would get (if any) of the T7 pvp gear.  I have the points and status to get any of it and kind of torn between a 1h weapon,  the Tower shield and the helmet (all of the T7 ones).  I currently am using the T6 Araneae Maulter, T7 Tower shield(s) Grizzfazzle's Shield and Intangible Aegis of Bylze, and helmet Hoo'Loh's Guarding Helmet.  I'm really thinking of going with either the helmet or the 1h (to get my 1h to T7 and the pvp 1h's look sweet and do some serious dmg).  Suggestions? <div></div>

<P>So far I have 1 hander, the helmet, and a ring (+438 crush) and a bracelet (+189 slash) off the mage vendor.  </P> <P>The shields arent really much of an upgrade if any over Grizzlefazzles, and since I just hotswap in some imbued cedar for ToS, I dont really need 5 great shields.  </P> <P>If I had to pick one, I'd pick the helmet.  Its pretty awesome even when compared to the DT helm.  1 handers drop alot, so thats not a big deal.  </P>

<DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is kinda off topic but I have a question.  Is it possible to hold agro in pvp situations?  I know taunts if not resisted will pull agro of that toon to you but, what I want to know is how effective is agro control in pvp situations?  Also does the protection line work as excpected, can you "protect" the healer with it or is it just fluff?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Cheers</DIV>

In group pvp the guardian is the wall people must climb over in order to get to anyone else.  <span>:smileywink:</span> Seriously we hold aggro just as well in pvp encounters as we do in pve encounters.  Our abilities in pvp though (Stone Sphere/intercepts etc) make us easily the best tank choice for pvp groups.  Only time someone in my group dies before I do is if we are facing multiple groups at once or if a scout class blind-sides us and takes out that softy before I can get my intercepts on him.  Even being blind-sided though it's a tough call on if they can take that mage out before I can target and intercept.  We are the behemoth! Back to topic though, hmm you know I didn't notice those jewelry items, would you suggest I get that before any type of armor/shield/weapons?  Thanks for the advice as usual <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><span></span> <div></div>
