As a Guardian, would you use the Ancient Sarnak War Cutlass or would you pass for a different weapon? Assuming the STA and WIS AA lines..Also assuming a guild that is just now thinking about doing a named Lab run to see how it goes... I'm not sure how commonly this cutlass drops off whatever named in HoS.If you wouldn't use it.. are there better weapons besides this Cleaver that are obtainable somewhere with 1 or 2 groups? Thanks in advance for any input.

But if you had already purchased said cutlass? Is that first named in HoS fairly easy as far as named raid mobs go?

haha.. it doesn't look cool at all :smileytongue:I guess I'm just wondering if I'd be better served trying to kill that first named in HoS instead of attuning this weapon.

Message Edited by notyou on 08-09-2006 02:01 AM
A swashie might pay good coin for the rapier... their Avast Ye! walk the plank AA line skill needs a rapier to turn mobs, and very few good ones seem to exist...

I'm waitn to see a sweet lookn rapier

My brother, 70 Swashie, chose the 1h claymore rapier for his achievement line and the thing looks like the dual wield slasher, it's not a rapier, it doesn't even look like a pierce weap... Was it too hard to make a cool lookn rapier?

Make like an elaborate glowing handle, maybe a glowing golden chain that goes from the bottom of the rapier's handle towards the middle of the blade to spice it up? i dunno.

~Abomidable

~Lords of the Triple Moons

Well, the ancient sarnak war cutlass looks like it dropped off a level 5 gnoll. Can't complain about DPS, but the graphic is awful. I think I can see rust.

I don't think a guardian should EVER have that weapon. I have a lvl 70 guardian and a lvl 70 Swashy. That Ancient Sarnak War Cutlass is the BEST weapon in the game for a swashy. I allows them to use both aa lines that most swashy's go down. Wis for the 1 hander 72% chance to double attack and the agi line which requires a rapier. If that weapon ever drops for us, I will be the very last person in our raid to bid on it. Me bidding on that would be like a swashy bidding on an acendent or a planar axe of destruction, it is just un heard of. But that is just my 2 cents on the matter.RubbermadeLvL 70 GuardianFallen, on Befallen Server

walk the plank does not turn epics and has silly low dmg for anyone to use it in raids, plus you dont need to use rapier for the avaste ye proc, also the [Removed for Content] kilij works as a rapier if your so keen on using one, even though this one is better the looks plain suck [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]
