T7 Raiding Guardians - What BP do you use?

<DIV>Im in the process of raid-gearing a Guardian, and Im really not sure which BP I should be using.</DIV> <DIV>I have:</DIV> <DIV>1)  Harla Dar BP (5% reverse heal)</DIV> <DIV>2)  Curiass of Protection</DIV> <DIV>3)  BP from shadow mob in HoS (forget name, but it kinda sucks)</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Im just not sure if its worth it to wear the Curiass of Protection over the Harla BP for the extra mit, or if in the end, its just not going to matter.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>What do you wear?</DIV> <DIV>Why?</DIV>

<DIV>blood ember brestplate (venny) has the highest base mita for fabled...</DIV> <DIV>cuirass of the high priestess (harla) has highest crushing for a fabled 5% chance for a 221 heal...</DIV> <DIV>CoP way overpowered legendary BP...</DIV> <DIV>Hurricane Forged Cuirass (hurricanius) has great stats but avearge mita, 5% taunt for 550...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>between the BPs i have or have passed on all of these (they are prboably the 4 best in t7)...  the one i wear is the highpriestess 90% of the time, i like the heal proc while soloing of duoing with a nonhealer...  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>most tanks drool over the hurricane one it has the same proc rate as high priestess and that goes off on average 10-12 times per raid (doesn't proc threw wards)...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>the CoP is what you should be tanking in untill you've got a good amount of fabled gear...  its honestly the best tanking BP in the game its just missing stats (i still wear it for tarinax)...  once you're overall gear gets better you see less diminsing returns on the pure mita (it is capped) so swap out the light chitin rings for something else, the CoP for something with stats...  it truely is the starter raid BP, the only problem is its ugly as sin...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>in full relic you can tank about everything, so if you're close to that then high priestess is better choice...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>curiass of the shadowfire is ok (thats probably what you have), and its also ugly as sin...</DIV><p>Message Edited by Wabit on <span class=date_text>07-27-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:41 PM</span>

<P>aye I use the priestess bp.. casue of the heal proc... </P> <P>but the reality is there is no kick butt bp in t7 there are jsut a bunch of mediocre ones that each have their upside.. not to mention the fact of cop <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P> </P>

<P>Raid buffed im way over cap in Mitigation - sitting at 6600mitigation - 13k hitpoints -</P> <P>I stick with the Blacklotus BP even after the nerf because the 125HP - 125PP is the most Ive seen on any other BP so far.    After mitigation the most important thing to me is hitpoints - my str - sta - agi is easily capped so I worry very little about stats - and if your in a set of t7 fabled all your resists are easily capped as well.</P> <P> </P> <P>Oh and Wabit I saw you other post with SS's of your masters - Im missing 3 masters myself too and one I noticed you didnt post up there - do you have Sever master? </P> <P>Im only missing Return to War (killing me) Sever and Buffet</P>

Just curious... does anyone ever wear anything other than CoP when tanking Tarinax?I've seen 6400 thrown around as the cap vs. 74's anyone have or seen any rough (or actual) figures vs.  75's?<div></div>
