<div align="center"><font size="5">Dark, Sexy, Political</font><div align="left"><font size="4">  That's the theme of the new bsg.  I'm tired of people attacking the new one by comparing it to the old one.  The old one was a cheesey typical space opra.  The new starbuck is the #1 target of  omgthenewbsgsuxors.  The old starbuck was one of the most shallow characters ever seen on TV.  He's the best pilot, scores lots of chicks, smokes lots of cigars, and is a really cool guy.  That's it, all that can be said about the old one can be said in 1 sentance.   I think the A team's character " Face" had better character development.    The new series is low tech and realistic.  It's probably the lowest tech sci fi series around.  Things never go right.  The cylons are a clever,  smart, and ruthless enemy.  Episodes are not predictable the season final on season 1,2A,and 2B were awesome.  The new one isn't about being the most uber sci fi series ever it's all about the storyline, character development, and harsh moral delemas.   Many of the characters are deeply flawed and must battle their personal demons, people make mistakes, human beings act like human beings, the leaders are often stuck trying to decide which is the lesser of 2 evils and the decission they make always has consequences.  Admiral Cain and the election between Baltar and Roslin in season 2 were almost mindblowing hard decissions.  In most sci fi TV series at the end of the eppisode there is little doubt if the main characters did the right thing throughout the eppisode.  Things are not like that in the new BSG.  Some of the characters are such chronic [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] ups like Col. Tigh even more battlehardened than Adama, great tactical officer, but a bad alcholoic who [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn]s things up when get gets back on the sauce.  The guy would probably be ok if he left his wife, but with her around sometimes he's more of a problem than solution.Dr Baltar The old one was so cheesey his #1 minion was a cylon named Lucifer, the new one is still on the side of humanity but with a friend like this you don't need enemies.  They did a wonderfull job with his character and it's amazing how the most intelligent human in the fleet is so deeply flawed and manipulated by the cylons.  If you have not watched at least 4 or 5 episodes of a series you are really not in any position to judge it.  There are acceptable answers for an initial impression of a series such asIt's to darkI didn't like the feel of itI didn't like the actorsAnd then from that 1st impression I never got into the series.  Hey I can't blame people if they feel that way you feel, it's cool everybody has thier own taste.  But to judge everything about a series without watching it is lame and ignorant if you watched less than 5 eppiosodes it should be "I never got into it" instead of "it suxors"</font></div></div><div></div>
