View Full Version : Confused on betraying
<DIV>Just a quick question, I have a level 36 zerker currently (along with my assassin on my sig), and my guild currently wants me to level up a guardian. I guess my question is I am a Qeynos zerker currently does betraying to FP give me the option to become a guardian?? If so that would probably be a lot easier then grinding up a new guardian. Thanks for any input!!!!</DIV>

yes, any class can betray to the opposite city and change subclass. there are classes that can live in both cities. such as guards, zerkers, troubadors, wizards ect ect. betraying will allow you to swap even those classes. but beware. when you betray, you will have a long quest (longer than the one you use to be able to do before lvl 1<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> and there will be another long quest to gain acceptance to your new home.but the biggest kicker is ALL of your abilities will be reset to app I levels.so any masters or adept 3's you have will be lost.you will just have to weigh your options over starting a new toon and lvling him up, or doing the betray quest and starting with all app I spells.and to be honest, why in the world would your guild want you to make a guard when you already have a zerker?guards are NOT that good and imo, they are not as good as zerkers in most situations.<div></div>
Well I guess that could lead to my next question, if we are not doing the "HIGH END" raid instances is there a benefit going from zerker to guardian if we are just talking about the standard instances between now and level 70?

You could even go Qeynos exile to Haven, then back to Qeynos and pick guardian. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I know someone who did that with their warden to become a fury and stay in Qeynos.

yep .. the quests arent too long either.. i completed them on my Ranger --> Assassin last night. Find of the +5000 quests that is just a "click this" update. Zone in, get the "access" piece (usually akey or something from a mob), the train to the clicky object, click it, train out. Return to hand it in and repeat. You can choose the +5000 quest you get by reading each one as he offers it and rejecting the ones you dont want.i completed the whole betrayal from my intial expulsion to Freeport member in about 3 hours.<div></div>
