<P>I normally don't really use a stance in a group all the time unless I'm fighting yellows or a difficult named. I rarely use offensive stance because it normally doesn't make too much of a difference. </P> <P>Usually the group is good enough where I won't need to use a stance.</P>

I hardly ever switch from defensive stance when I'm grouped. Offensive stance doesn't really do much, as my str is usually capped on our groups, and the melee skills close to.In the end, it all boils down to your group's setup, really. At least in my opinion, taking more damage to add just one or two K more damage to a mob isn't really worth it when you're tanking.<div></div>

Offensive to solo unless its high yellows. Def to tank unless its greens (blues with 2 healers). When i am not tanking in a group i am offensive stance.. if i find at any time i need to pick up an add or something i switch to def.so yeah, i switch alot.<div></div>

<DIV><FONT color=#0066ff>Thanks for all the tips! :smileyhappy: I tried out different combinations last night based all your suggestions.</FONT></DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#0066ff></FONT> </DIV> <DIV><FONT color=#0066ff>And thanks for the complement on the sig. I love it too. I went to the signatures forum and looked around at all the different artists offering their (free) sig making services, and chose Coniaric. He had it done within a few days, and I couldn't be more pleased with it!</FONT></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<P><BR>I am in Off Stance almost 100% of the time while I solo, rarely do I shift to Def stance unless they are Yellow ^ but I try to stay away from those after the first beating. Once I hit a Group and I am the MT/MA I switch to Def Stance. </P> <P>I never sit in a neutral stance.</P>

<DIV>I solo in offensive stance unless I get an add, in which case I either run or switch to defensive and use my short-term mitigation buffs as well as Plant.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I raid in defensive from the outset. If things are going smoothly and the healers seem to be falling asleep, I switch to offensive for better hate generation. Vs tougher epic mobs, I stay defensive all the time.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I group in offensive stance unless we have several adds, in which case I switch to defensive. The only exception is Halls of Fate, where I stay in defensive most of the time in order to limit the impact of debuffs like Debilitate as well as to reduce the damage of attacks such as Hammer Fist and Vanquishing Blow.</DIV>

<DIV>Soloing I use Offensive stance in pretty much all circumstances. Tanking anything that hits hard I'll go into Defensive stance, unless I'm in a really low DPS group, in which case I might be in Offensive and only switch to Defensive if we pull an add. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>- Rorrak</DIV>

Soloing - pretty much always offensive unless I'm taking on a mob that is very toughGrouped - probably 60% I'm defensive. I do a lot of tanking for lower level guildmates however in which case I can generally stay in offensive stance.Raiding - my normal job in raids is spot filler so I'm generally in offensive stance with 2hander. Have to pay close attention to what is happening then though because you have to anticipate that your going to have to take agro and switch to defensive stance, swap out to a 1hander and equip a shield before that happens. Of course if I actually am assigned to be MA, off-tank, or backup I am in defensive stance to start.<div></div>
