Obviously wis path 4/4/4/8 for the 342 mitigation...

but since your def is already maxxed, there is little point in the agi path, because all you get is the 12 second ripostes. Not really all that useful. Since your parry is also maxxed while in a mt group (I assume everyone puts a dirge in their mt groups), there is little value in that path also.

Seems like the only other useful path would be the hate gain str path. You get more crits down that line also regardless of your weapon choice, so thats some extra dps aggro, and lastly, once you get that axe outa labs with infuriate on it...you'll get to use the other skill in that path as well.

Message Edited by AncientElster on 04-12-2006 01:49 PM

Just a few corrections to your post. The max mit you can get from AA is 314 and the axe with infuriate is not from labs. Also not everyone uses a dirge in the MT group so in all there is no set way for a MT to spec AAs. There is the min max way or the most common way but not every MT group has all the available resources you are talking about.

i have 2 sets of Aa's for MT on a raid this is my favorite setup

Wis line 4/4/8/8

Str line 4/4/8/8

gives a total of 18-19% dps bonus 314 miti ..22% melee crit chance and 10% hate gain

so the melee crit chance and dps bonus all help with holding aggro and so does the hate gain and the miti is handy as well

For a non MT or when i fancy a change

Satm line 6/8/8/8

Str 7/4/8

gives some very nice dps bonus's from maxed double attack and melee crit chance ....max buckler reversal is about 491-670'ish damage every 30secs while fighting ...and with the max crit chance it has a good chance of being increased by 30%,

maxing the 4th rank in stam line means with a buckler that has 1000 protection less than my towershields i have more avoidence, so you can have excellent bonus's to dps but you do lose out on the 314 miti.

Message Edited by TheEasternKing on 04-12-2006 02:27 PM
