<div></div><div></div><div></div><div>I don't raid anymore with my guild and I hear the new T7 rare armor is going to be crap. Due to that I would like to start working Quests and zones that drop armor upgrades over Cobalt. The following is what I know so far:</div><div> </div><div>Bonemire:</div><div>Grizzfazzle's Errand Quest - Very Nice Tower Shield and some weapon choices</div><div> </div><div>Barren Sky</div><div>Blood of the Brood - Class specific hat quest.</div><div> </div><div>The Great Nest:</div><div>Nice 2HS (Katana something) from the next to last named.</div><div> </div><div>Quests</div><div>Basilisk Spine Collection - Gives a nice ring level 62 with +2 defense. I can't wear mine yet so I can;t compare it to Vanadium I'm wearing.</div><div>Claymore Quest #6- The sixth quest in this series provides a nice BP that is better than Cobalt.</div><div> </div><div>Please add anything you have found that is better than T6 Legendary. I'm sure OGaming will have this stuff up eventually but I'd like to start working on some of this stuff now if I can at 61.</div><p>Message Edited by Wasuna on <span class="date_text">03-01-2006</span><span class="time_text">01:00 PM</span></p><p>Message Edited by Wasuna on <span class="date_text">03-02-2006</span><span class="time_text">09:59 AM</span></p><p>Message Edited by Wasuna on <span class="date_text">03-03-2006</span><span class="time_text">09:08 AM</span></p>

Not sure where some of this comes from, but IMO, its an upgrade over T6.  Last night i got rid of most of my level 50 equipable stuff, and noticed a definate improvement in tanking, without much noticeable resist/mitigation changes.  In theory the cobalt is grey to 64+ mobs, and this is likely the issue.  So when you are 11 levels over the req'd level for your gear.Sunderguard - tower shield, seems common, 930 protection, and nice resists.  Selling on the broker on butcherblock around 17g.   Has sta, but no HPs, but is very very common.  Repair costs are cheap on it.  I bought 2, and use tower of stone a ton now (master 1 ToS is 4% a hit - and works wonderfully with druid regen heals on long namer fights when you get lower hp).  I'm thinking of picking up another one.The profile section of eq2players isnt showing atm, so I can't grab the names of a couple items...There was a bp with 375 mit 20 wis/sta that I picked up for 9g.  (level 62 req'd) Scaleguard?  There were literally 20+ of them on the broker.Boots, and bracer with 335ish +63 vs slash/crush/pierce, bringing the total mitigation better than cobalt.  the bracer had a similar name to the bp.  bracer was in the 15g range, boots 50ish.  The boots seemed a ton less common (3 on broker vs 15+).planar orb collection quest gets you a nice earring with +defense and a proc that appears to heal you (may be broken) similar to a sta ring<div></div>

<div></div><p>A Mark of Awakening is an epic quest so you should cross that off your list.</p><p>Blood of the Brood is the heroic legendary profession hat quest, begun at Hoo'Loh in Barren Sky.</p>

<div></div><p>The Claymore quest series is kind of the Peacock quest of KoS but once you get a few into the series the rewards are actually things you might use. There is a NPC in your home city that starts the quest. The following link is from my guilds forum on this quest series.</p><p><a target="_blank" href="http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=42293&ForumID=193952&TabID=373407&TopicID=2096735">http://www.guildportal.com/Guild.aspx?GuildID=42293&ForumID=193952&TabID=373407&TopicID=2096735</a></p><p>Be warned. Make SURE you get the update to start the second quest by talking to your empires agent in the Hidden Refuge befofre you move on. This part is a bit tricky in that you end one quest and start the second one at the same time and you do not necessarly get the second quest update. If you do not get this update and try to continue then you will be bugged and not be able to proceed. Like me.</p>
