Did anyone notice Inflamming Defense (hold the line) had its snare removed. woot! It always was a PITA to toggle that on and off every fight.

lol, now the Guardian class is fixed!!! Rejoice!!

it's just like SOE to "fix" something that really didn't need fixing...

It's still a convience factor that I very much appreciate. Take it as you will.

Yeah it doesn't make us tank any better. It just removes the hassle of having to smash a key to start the fight and smash it to end the fight (ad nauseum). Isn't that what the combat changes were intended to do anyway with the removal of the timers on our buffs?

Ya, it was a pleasant suprise for me today too, especially after seeing the "Guardian Changes" were non-existant again with the patch.

Not a huge upgrade, but a step in the right direction. Definately helps to get to mobs that have broken and run off to the warlock quicker, don't have to cancel and recast anymore. 5 or 6 more of these and maybe 70 percent of guardians won't switch to Beserkers SOE! Keep them coming, and say it wasn't a mistake. Anyone else see notice that their power consumption went up today... still have to check the logs, but it seemed that that I was using more power than usual.

Message Edited by Be-min on 02-02-200611:28 PM

I was with my group of friends in Poet's Palace when I first discovered that I could move with Inflaming Defense active. What a surprise and great upgrade. Now I can leave it active and swing the MoBs around while trying to hold aggro instead of doing the old Guardian Crawl.

Please tell me this was an intended upgrade. :smileyvery-happy:

I will be sticking with my guardian. Leveled him to 60 with a group of friends and plan on going the distance. For better or worst.

I will admit being rooted with HTL did have its advantages for example if you got charmed and it was up you weren't smart enough to turn it off so you'd just stand there and attack anyone that got in range. Oddly though you could still click it off while charmed.

Its probably for the better though if you lose aggro it will be alot easier to move around and get it back now.
