Are Guardians Really the Best High-End Raid MT ?

<div>In numerous other threads I have seen the claim that the Guardian's niche is at the very high end of raiding.  Supposedly, a full fabled Guardian is the best choice for raid MT (by a slight margin). </div><div> </div><div>Can any high-end raiders confirm if this is this really the case, because I have not seen it yet?  My post-LU13 raid experience has been with a Berserker, an SK, a Paladin, and a couple of different Guardians MT'ing.  All are good players and are similarly equiped (adept III taunts, mix of T6 legendary and fabled equipment). </div><div> </div><div>By far the Guardians (including mine) seem to have the most aggro problems, while the Berserker followed by the Paladin seem to be the best MT's overall.  They can take a hit just as well as a Guardian without as many aggro issues. </div><div> </div><div>Comments?</div>

Guardians hands down are the best overall MT imo.  I am a zerker nearly full fabled.  I raid nightly i jump up to MT on every cold mob.  That is the zerker niche.  Yes zerkers can hold aggro at times better than a guardian but it is all dmg based we only get 3 taunts.  Our mitigation is lower and our avoidance is slightly less as well.Each Plate class has their own speciality for being an MT mostly based off of what there defensive stats buffs them for.  However overall a Guardian should be your top choice for MT.<div></div>

<div></div><p>We dont have any problem tanking most epics with either a Zerk or SK.  To simply say that Guards are the hands down preffered tank is pre-LU13 logic.  I started as a Guardian from day one.  I leveled up to 50 fast pre-LU13 because I was always in groups.  I tanked everything in the game post except Darathar pre-LU13 and some post LU13 in DOF.  Trying to level a guardian post LU13 is like going in for a root canal with no novicain.  If Guardians are suppose to be as some have said the premo tank for 1% of the game then we are really only needed 1% of the time.  When AA's come in and guards are only used 1% of the time the disparity will be even more evident.</p><p> </p>
