I think change is comming with the scrapping of the class tree or what ever the heck it was called. People will say there isn't but I've been with SOE long enough to know it is. Gone are the days of grouping classes into a lower level of classes. It will not be a big change at 1st, but over a span of LU they will align the classes to what they realy are.<div></div>

I'd thought that the restructuring was changing the way the class's go from level 3-20. Are you saying that the changes will affect all the class's 3-60 ?Lifetaker<div></div>

<div></div>Some say it will, some say not.  We will have to wait and see what this will lead to, if anything at all...

<div></div>Yes at first it will only effect level 1 - 19. But doing this frees them from the restraints of the base class. ( i.e. all these are healers, all these are scounts, all these are mages, all these are fighters ) They will now be free to allign classes to what they are and not what their base class was. Even now the DEVs might not think they will change classes but they will, they always do. They will tweek the classes to fit the content they create giving each class skills that fit that class. Pure classes will get pure hard line skills, combo class will get combo skills. Not all at once but over time and in the end the classes will be clear cut once again. And this time people can't fall back on I am a fighter, priest, mage or scout base to [expletive haxx0red by Raijinn] about not being able to do another classes role in the game, they are what they are.Realy I don't blame them that pitched a fit about not being able to do thier base class role as SOE did say all where going to be equal. Yes the logical choice would of been to pick a guard to be a main tank, a templer to be a main healer, a wizard to be a nuke droping DPS. But as much as I hated it, and you hated it SOE did say that all class types would be equal in their primary role. This does sound good on paper but in practice it just don't work out and IMHO they see it. In spite of what all is said LU13 wasn't the success they where looking for and it wasn't a total flop either. I've never seen so many unhappy players in multible classes in all my gaming before. I've seen loads of unhappy people in this class and then in that class but not 2 or 3 classes at one time. So realy I feel this is one of the major reasons why they are going away from the sub-class system and going strait class types and freeing them selves. But then I could be wrong, it wouldn't be the 1st time nor will it be the last.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Landiin on <span class="date_text">01-15-2006</span><span class="time_text">06:06 AM</span></p>

<div>While it's a good thing at face value, nothing happens at SOE overnight. If the whole class realignment project takes 2 years to implement, it won't matter how good it is, because it will all just be too late.</div>
