<div></div><u>Tower of stone</u> is currently a game breaking ability. With the simple expediency of carrying 20-30 of tower shields, the built in drawback of the spell is easily defeated, thus trivializing raid content.<span> </span>For the purposes of game balance, the damage effect for Tower of Stone should not only apply to the shield, but also the ring on the shield arm, the spaulders, gussets, and gloves used to hold the shield. By making 5 slots take the 40% damage when the ability is used, it will prevent guardians from being able to carry enough shields to make this skill semi useful.<span> </span>For the sake of game balance, this change should go live asap.<p><u>Steadfast Stance</u> currently gives 24 points of Defense and Parry.<span> </span>This didn’t use to be a big deal since Parry component didn’t actually work, but now that it does, well look at that 24 points of Defense?<span> </span>I mean, that’s a lot. No one is really sure what it does any more, not even evidently the devs, but 24 is a lot.<span> </span>Really Steadfast stance needs 2 things, it needs a 25% run speed reduction, and it needs a random 5% chance to resist any heal cast on the guardian.<span> </span>Randomly resisting 1 in 20 heals will help better bring Guardians in line as far as tanking ability with the other classes in the mage tree.</p><p><u>Removal (temp) of tradeskilling ability</u>. A quick check on my sever has shown a HUGE number of guardians engaged in tradeskill activity.<span> </span>I think it’s clear to anyone with half a brain that there is some type of exploit going on.<span> </span>Some ability that guardians have, some utility we posses is causing a tradeskill exploit.<span> </span>Until a careful study of those guardians who do little but log in and tradeskill has been found, and the exploit they are using has been isolated, eliminated and the relevant accounts banned, changes need to be made.<span> </span>Until the exploit is found, I suggest disabling the ability of all guardians to do tradeskill combines.<span> </span></p><p>I know it will be a bit of a pain for some legitimate tradeskillers, but stopping the exploits is but one effect of this temporary change.<span> </span>We need to get all of those guardians out of the tradeskill dungeons and out in the experience groups that so desperately want them.<span> </span>Once these guardians see the exploitation is not they way, and once they start experiencing the countless rich, intricate, and engaging dungeons that make up DoF, they should see the error of their ways.<span> </span>And if they don’t? Well they can just take their exploiting ways to WoW or V:SoH when it comes out. And I say good riddance!</p><div></div>
