<DIV>Is it me or is Sentry watch a very clever little spell that could use some tweaking?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Since alchys can really only make it as ad III it´s expensive to get and I´ve had it for a while now but never used it... why? Because when you´re in a fight the only time you´d ever really need it is when you get adds and they go straight for your healer. The healer can always res the wizard so frankly, you let them eat dust :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The problem with the spell is the short duration and requires you to hit it at just the right time and gives you very little space to start hitting the mob that´s on the healer.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Out of the 5 consentration slots we have I only ever use 4, dont know if we even have a spell that would fill the 5th. I´d really like to see this spell there, you can place it on the toon you want to be sure survives the fight and it stays up until used or cancelled. This would make it very useful and give you time to hit the mob thereby getting agro back.</DIV>

I agree, I also have this spell and I have never had a successful outcome with it. If I am not mistaken this is similar to a templar spell that can be cast to save someone but I don't know if the duration is the same. I also play a templar, and have never successfully used his spell to any positive affect either.

Make it useful, we already have guardian sphere, don't need a 2nd copy with a weaker effect. Make sentrywatch a blue aoe ressit proof taunt on a 5 or 10 minute timer and it would be the best thing ever.<div></div>

Another Idea for Sentry Watch might be to make it a Group Hate Transfer - maybe transfer x% of group's aggro to the Guardian. (depending on Adept I, III or Master) Make it cost 1 conc so we have a use for our 5th conc point. <div></div>

Make it similar to sentry, but instead of intercepting damage as sentry does, it procs a hate (like inflaming defence) that procs hate for the guardian, and moves the target down one place in the hate list. Would be good to cast on reactive healers so that on pull they dont instantly die <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

The problem with it and guardian sphere has been, that unless you already had it up(which is rarely), the mobs target has been one shotted or so close to dead that its not going to take the mob much more pounding to finish them off.

I agree. This CA is a lesser version on the Sphere. A change to a Concentration ability would be a nice with some different effects-there is several listed in this string that would be good.

I wouldn't even say it's a lesser version of guardian sphere since it doesn't block any shots until someone's about to take a death blow, and even then, I've been standing on top of someone practically when they take a death blow with it up and it still didn't save them. This skill needs to be looked at.<div></div>

I haven't had a change to use mine yet, just got it, but from the description it does seem to require a timing that's difficult to get right. Why not? We have no blue aunt, and much much less aoe agro generation then pre POF. Do PPtR 4 or 5 times with a guardian tank and tell me oranges resisting taunts doesn't make for the most random splats ever.<div></div>
