<DIV>Unless you never ever plan on tanking again, take Protect. No reason not to. </DIV>

<DIV>I agree protect is the way to go.  AE taunt that increases hate by up to over 800</DIV>

I hit 54 last night and Protect was the obvious choice for me as a Tank class. No question about it.. =)

If you're ever considering tanking raids choose call of defense for the avoidance increase, can always upgrade your protect later (I got a master1 on master day). <div></div>

The slight difference between adept3 and master2 defence buff is like 3. Seeing as most raid mobs just never ever miss me anyways, im not thinking the extra 3 avoidance helps. However the master2 AE taunt is actually substantially better than adept3 and is noticably more effective.

<DIV>With taunts being resistable now, it's a good idea to get them as highly upgraded as possible to reduce/eliminate your primary purpose for being in a group: aggro control.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Even if the difference between adept3 and master2 were only 50 hate, I'd take the master 2 because it's going to do 800 more hate than a resisted adept3.</DIV>

<DIV>I guess I went outside the norm and took Quelling Strike.  Wanted the DPS since I solo alot but Rescue and Protect are Adept 3.</DIV>

protects the easier master to get... I got months ago, so took call to defense.Neither is an ideal master choice, but both work.<div></div>
