<DIV>This question was one that I never heard before the combat changes.  Like many of my Guardian bretheren, I have the highest level spells that I can find, focusing on my taunts.  I wear top end gear and dual imbued rare weapons.  I haven't been in a group where anyone my level has had higher hitpoints, and my mitigtion is bar none.  However, when I join a pick up group they ask... "Who will be Tanking?"</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The sad fact is, the Guardian is not often chosen as the tank.  Why not?  Because the Main Tank is defaulted to the one that controls the aggro - the sad fact is that in most cases that is not the Guardian.  We have hate generating AoE's, arts designed to reduce a group member's hate and the ability to rescue someone that has caught a creatures attention but all of these are negated by a higher damaging group member.  I appreciated the comment that the group is responsible as a whole to control aggro, but when was the last time you saw a Bruiser FD?  Or a Necromancer back a pet off?  Casual players will not be bothered.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have invested a lot of time into my Guardian and I will continue to play her but I feel like the recent combat changes have crippled the class.  It is my hope that others that share my sentiments will <STRONG>take a moment to be heard</STRONG> - perhaps as a group our concerns will gain the ear of those that have the power to make a difference.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<FONT color=#ffff00>This is a group game it's everyones responsibility however at lower levels aggro isn't an issue, most classes can tank sufficiently well to survive an encounter. They need to be to allow new players learn the ropes. As you level people will get wise because dumb people die. It's frustrating but there you go.</FONT>
