Sony decided it was unwise to give any tank class an advantage in this area, so they took away that advantage in the big combat upgrade. It however seems that they have failed to give guardians anything reasonable in return. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This COULD be a matter of perception, maybe all the players fail to see what extra role Sony as given guardians. This is an invitation to Sony to come out and explain to us what the extra role of Guardians is intended to have, beyond base tanking.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>LU16 actually represented a nerf to the guardians, so Sony must think we are doing something too good. They took away our high-mitigation level 60 buff and replaced it with a level 55 mitigation buff instead, reducing our level 60 mitigation. They gave us an AE slow and root spell that people have a hard time figuring out what do anything useful with. They took away our defense buff, that admittedly had minor effect anyways.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I feel guardians are still waiting for that well defined extra role that the other tank classes have. It is important both for how useful the other players view the guardian to be, and for the enjoyment of the guardian players.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Mentin on <span class=date_text>11-12-2005</span> <span class=time_text>08:53 AM</span>
