<P>I'm going to comment here about several things concerning Guardians and EQ2.</P> <P>Some background, so you know where I am coming from and how I am basing my opinions.</P> <P>I started playing EQ2 because I got tired of the game mechanics of EQ1.  I was a level 70 Warrior with close to 250 AAs.  I wasn't the best equiped Warrior by any means, but I enjoyed the game, playing almost every day.</P> <P>After starting my Gaurdian in EQ2, I have reached level 57, with decent gear, and have progressed at a nice rate.  I do not parse dps, etc.  Some of my abilities work better then others, so I use those and only use the less useful ones rarely.  I do belong to a small guild and yes I am the highest level member atm.</P> <P>What I am inteseted in is seeing the mob's health go done faster then mine, or the group's health.  As in RL, we have to use to the best of our abilities what we have been given to fight with.  The game is still fun for me, still a challenge, and I look forward to playing each evening.  Seeking new places, new experiences, new friends is the fun aspect of this game.</P> <P>Is the game perfect?  Is life perfect?</P> <P>So my advice to all, is go have fun, seek new adventures, and kill something before it can kill you.</P> <P>Damagecat, Level 57 Kerra Gaurdian</P> <P>Hands of Destiny Guild</P> <P>Guk Server</P> <P> </P>

The token "j"esture of decreasing shield bash by 10 whole seconds is the only thing that comes close to not being pathetic. </DIV>

changes arent that drastic but at least all the changes are positive imo, now all we need is knockback resist

The whole purpose of the combat change was to make all fighters equal. They stripped the one ability Guardians had which was to tank. For that I hold their feet to the fire and demand to be made equal.<BR>

Knockback reist, while nice, is not good enough to offset lack of DPS, utility and subpar tanking ability.
