While I was grouping someone said it would be smart to make a macro that told people what I was pulling. I've never used macros before so if someone could help me make some tanking macros then that would be nice.

Yes, it is a good idea to have a macro to tell your group that you are pulling.

Under the "Socials" window, click on the Macros tab. Click <Edit Macro> and under the "Commands" line type:

/g Incoming %T

Now just drag and drop the macro to an empty spot on your hotbar and you are good to go. Just click that macro each time before u pull.

you should also be able to add a couple lines and do something like

/useability "combat art name or autoattack ranged etc"

so you can just hit that button to launch an arrow and say what you are pulling

when tanking a few at a time it is good to have a incoming message but when you are chain pulling mobs every which way you dont want to spam every1. when i pull a mob i have /g Incoming +[ %t ]+ kill now before it kills the healers. i think its better for the group to have the targets name in a box of some kind or some different lines so they can see you are pulling something and able to be ready for whats coming in.
