<DIV> <DIV>Just a quick grumble but as a plate tank I absolutely hate how grouped mobs like to fan out around me in a circle when fighting. Sure I thought it was pretty slick looking 11 months ago when I started playing, but it's absolutely bogus that I'm unable to position mobs in front of me to get the most from my limited avoidance skills. Logic would say that I should just wedge myself into a corner and force them in front, but instead as a result of lackluster pathing and collision checks mobs will continue to fan out even into objects and walls and attack from flanks and behind, unseen and unable to attack. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>That is all.</DIV></DIV>

<P>So you have either: </P> <P>a) found a small pathing/warping exploit you can't talk about </P> <P>or</P> <DIV>b) have a legit technique for positioning that alot of guards who read here could probably appreciate but you're to good to share it with them</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Either way great reply there!<BR></DIV><p>Message Edited by knightinplaid on <span class=date_text>10-22-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:47 AM</span>

<DIV>I agree knightinplaid.</DIV> <DIV>If it isn't an exploit share.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But to the OP, think about it this way; you are in a group that gets attacked by someone.  Do you stand so close to your comrades that you can't swing your weapon or do you fan out to prevent "friendly fire" and help the scoundrel out in the killing of you and your friends?  You would fan out.  You know you would, it maximizes your groups potential for success while minimizes losses.  I like the idea of them fanning out.  It brings a little realism to a otherwise boring game for me post LU13.  Sure it makes things difficult for plate tanks, but if you haven't noticed, the game is more centered toward pajama tanks these days that can avoid those mabs better than us.  But have faith!  SOE always changes things.:smileywink: :smileywink: :smileywink:</DIV>
