<DIV>How do you guardians gain aggro now after the update. I was in a group last night with a berserker, and a conjurer, well of course the pet tanked the best but.. when the berserker gained aggro i found it usefull to cast all my protection buffs on him. This actually reduced damage to him and with my l33t mitigation i could actually protect him more effeciently than he could protect himself. Of course this effect is subtle cause zerkers are tanks too, but it was as if the zerker had double the mitigation , mine + his, and double the hp. Im sure this would be even more effiecient if i had adept3's of all my protects. Of course i will do my best to steal aggro which is impossible until they put aggro gain on protection, but when i did i immediately casted maddening defense to get the mob to stick on me. I've only tried this with another tank in the group, i doubt this would work with a scout as the scout would most likely get wiped before you can get your 10% chance protection to work, but it might work. I think this strategy is great because i was using the zerkers aggro to get my hp / defense used by the group , a sort of indirect way of tanking, its sad its come to this but taunts no longer work for us.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also whoever makes the spells, For maddening defense, wouldnt intervening damage count as bieng hit by the monster, which SHOULD activate the maddening defense taunt, which now it does not, just a thought, this would also solve the, intervening should gain aggro argument im giving.</DIV>

<DIV>Obviously sony is NOT going to make us the best tanks again, were we before? The only thing we can do now is let the monks tank, the matter the fact is, monks are not the best tanks because they avoid damage they arent good at taking it. That is our job, is to take or intervene the monk or aggro kings damage. Ok we have a few taunts, so do the other fighters, what are they for? who knows but they are supposed to be used in conjunction with something else, what is that something else? well guardians have none. I will be upgrading my intervene and letting the paladin/zerker/monks/pets tank and will do my best to intervene their damages why my mitigation. After all a monk with the mitigation of a guardian is the ultimate tank , not 1 class can exist effeciently without the dependence of another.</DIV>
