*** Gameplay ***

- Players now mitigate much less of the damage done by encounters that con orange and red. It is recommended that low orange encounters be attempted only by very well-equipped players, and even then there is no guarantee of success. High-orange and red encounters are meant to be deadly, so it is wise to avoid fighting them.
- Small wooden loot chests no longer have a chance to be trapped.
- Large wooden loot chests are now less likely to be trapped. If a trap is set off, it will only inflict damage rather than cast a debuff.
- Metal loot chests are very likely to be trapped, and these traps can inflict a variety of unpleasant effects.

Why dont I see the word Avoid there also ? Our mitigation and avoidance is already been nerfed to hell. These days only reason to call a Guardian is to go and kill a big bad mofo. If these now will go through our mitigation like hot knife through butter this means another nerf to us who rely on mitigation.

Message Edited by Nazowa on 09-20-2005 01:23 AM

I thought the same thing. Every single change made to make the mobs "harder" only deals with mitigation. It's like taking the wound that is the guardian class right now, and shoving a knight into it, then twisting it around forever. We suck, don't make us suck anymore. How are we going to survive the level 65 raid mobs that will be added? Maybe we're not meant to, any raid mob above level 60 will have to be avoidance tanked, and the guardian will be even more worthless.

Avoidance already sucks against orange + con mobs. They don't have to change anything. Of course you knew that already.
