I can see that alot of other people are about as unhappy as I am with guardian changes. This is my first post in the forums, I am NEW to the forums, and I have some questions.

1. What is the best way to get positive changes/adjustments made to the guardian class? Do I log onto test and play my guy and provide detailed battle by battle information? Do I post my results from live here? Is there a vote somewhere up or down?

2. What is the likelyhood that my voice will be heard by those that need to hear it? What are your experiences, any good methods to making your feedback count?

3. Is there any way to get all the people that don't like the changes to the guardian together on this and get something done about it?

Help me out here, because my favorite hobby and game just became significantly less enjoyable IMHO.

If you find out , can you let me know too. I really don't want to quit , but atm i am just hating this game and would rather play CoD UO.

I need some positives (i.e. ability to feedback and get response) , so that i can stay in game on the off-chance

Well based on the fact that the devs did not listen to the feedback the testers were giving them, I would have to say their mind was made up a long time ago about all this. Did the testing on test/beta server just to say they did it but the beta testers themselves (Well atleast some anyway) have stated they continuoulsy told the devs how F'd up things were and it went live anyway..

I Don't expect things to change.. we got screwed and thats that.. there is currently no vehicle to voice you opinions/request that will actually get a reply..

If they gave a crap or if they really were speakin the truth about "Tweaking" post revamp then I figured I would have seen a "Consolidated Post Revamp suggestions/concerns" type post somewhere from the Devs. I have looked and did not see one..
Now that the CC's and expansion have gone live, we once again will get the cold shoulder.. Maybe the devs will prove me wrong but I'm not holding my breath..

Message Edited by Trook on 09-16-2005 05:55 AM

Public communication between SOE and the players has always been next to pointless IMO. Not sure where exactly the fault lies but it never works. Alot of it has to do with the fact that ALOT of places where normally you would think such communication could occur gets filled with useless crap from the whiny players out there only thinking about themselves to which SOE can only give BS political answers too. Honestly If i had the job of being expected to respond to most the crap on these forums I would feed everyone the biggest pile of political BS i could just to [Removed for Content] them off. I do know that someone from SOE does read the /feedbacks we can do in game, ive personally known friends that provided good /feedback on stuff that did get addressed. And if you are polite, contructive a PM to Moorgard, etc will get you a response...Not always what you want but at least your heard and not flamed like you would be on the forums. I think trying to discuss matters on these forums is just pointless.. I wish there was a Point of Contact email wise, etc for each subclass...an actual developer or something that we could have discussions with. This hoping it gets passed on to whoever can figure out who to pass it on too doesnt do much. Ide just like to be able to ask some questions so that I can better understand what it is my class should be able to do and not do.
