On level 50-59 Heroic ^^^'s if you are not in maddening defense the whole time and a Wizard throws out Ice Comet, you can kiss aggro goodbye. And if a Conjurer whips out his taunting pet, you can say goodbye to aggro (unless you use rescue).

Summoners should NEVER have their defensive stance on their pet in a group.  The pet doesn't have the mitigation to tank effectively and they're losing lots of dps.  Smack them if they do.  Our offensive pet stances don't taunt.  Tell your wizard friend not to use Ice Comet on the first blast.  You have to let the tank get aggro before ramping up casting. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>People have to learn how to play in a group again.  Tanks have to relearn their aggro generators because it's more difficult than before.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It comes down to people have to pay attention in groups.</DIV>

<P>Lvl 50 guardian here. Only time I loose aggro is when my protect (Master I) or deafen (Adept III) gets resisted on pull. I can't hold aggro for crap.. but apparently wards break maddening defense line.. been grouped with a warder. Need to have them stop warding. <div></div>

And in group with dirge+zerker my DPS is great. <div></div><hr></blockquote>Have you guys noticed that when your taunt gets resisted the timer is greatly reduced?  I was using shouting cry last night, and the resist sound was very noticable, and it's timer was 1s if it was resisted instead of 20s if it landed, meaning i was able to hit it almost right away to make sure it went off.</span><div></div>

I noticed the same, Prufrock, yes. But holding aggro now is much harder now. At least it is for me, but hey, maybe I suck <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>
