<DIV>A couple weeks ago after farming MG with a group I finally got a Flame-Tested Mail. Tonight while mentoring a buddy who just restarted in RV a freaking Shimmering Star BP dropped. So looking for a little advice, the reflect proc makes up for the loss of 13ish sta in my opinion but it's only a marginal boost and I hate upgrading so darn fast after all the work farming MG. That and there will be T6 BPs in just a few weeks.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also have a question on the reflect effect. It's a 5% chance to reflect 100% of a lvl 50 effect at 25% it's casting level. Does it also reflect higher level mobs just at a decreased amount? Thanks for the input.</DIV>

That proc can cause you a real headache if it reflects a bad bad AoE from a boss mob. My personal advice is to sell it for good cash.

Or keep it for group exp and use a reaplacement BP for raids

stick with the flame tested, lol we had a tank try to tank venekor with the shimmering star bp...........i think we had 30 adds at one point, it pulled all the temple lizards and most of the other stuff around it <div></div>

I use multiple BPs.. shimmering star is the best BP in the games hands down, just need to not be a buttmuffin and know when to take it off. <div></div>

Shimmering will work on all mobs that don't have a knockback (venekor, rognog, some deception drakota)...  As long as its fabled it will do just fine.
