<DIV>I'm not sure I understand "Threat Priority" properly. Right now, I assume it is akin to positions on the hate list. For example, Rescue (25 Guard) raises your threat priority 1 position. That means to me, if I have aggro and suddenly someone takes aggro, I can leapfrog 1 position higher using this spell. Thats a pretty cool ability, but it is a 30 minute recast. It definitely is just a "oh [expletive ninja'd by Faarbot]" type of buff, not a mainstream hate builder.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>But then I see this Berzerker spell called Promise of Violence (Zerk 3<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. It increases threat priority by 50 positions and can be used every 10 seconds. So, if I understand threat positions correctly, this means they can jump 50 spots higher on the hate list every 10 seconds. Since we're limited to 24 people in a raid, this is basically guaranteed aggro using one ability.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think this is crazy that there is so much disparity between a zerker's aggro and a guardian's aggro. Am I interpreting these spell discriptions correctly? Is this going to be addressed in the combat changes?</DIV>

<P>LOL, ya its insane aggro and ya its been fixed in the changes to hate ... no more aggro god berserkers they slapped us with the nerf bat !!! the spell at adept 3 is 509 threat priority positions and yes soe found that out and nerfed it .... kinda sucks no more insta peels anymore haha</P> <P>Zerkin</P>

10 second reuse timer? now that's insane. Would be nice if Rescue could get a 10 second reuse timer.. That will never happen I am sure

Yes this is how zerkers get aggro so fast and yes this ability should be nerfed, talk about classes being overpowered...

When I had my serk at level 34, several of my main attacks have hate attached to them above and beyond the damage done.. put that with the buff agro from going bersker on a regular basis (when being hit, when firing a skill that puts you berserk, etc) and it becomes unbalanced.  Keeping agro on ordinary encounters with druids pre-hot healing and buffing on pulls, warlocks nuking, etc was no issue.. and rarely did I have to go beyond 1-2 taunts after the pull to maintain that agro...  the berserk buff was tremendous.. heck I was able to pull agro off a guardian 4+ levels above me who -was- taunting if I didn't choose very carefully when to start in with my agro included attacks.. Promise of violence is part of the overall agro issue, but not by any means is it the only way.. </span><div></div>

lol once again people dont ask if its a typo, PoViolence isnt 509 threat positons like it states lol , that is 509 threat... dev has already confirmed its a typo so in reality in the combat changes its getting its threat boosted instead of nerfed <div></div>

I came here asking if I was interpreting the results correctly. In my experience, I know a zerker can pull aggro from a guard that is burning every taunt he has, and the zerker can do it in one CA (PoV). Please post a link to the dev post that says it is only a typo. Until then, I will believe what I see.

PoV has so much "threat" on it because you also get str buffed and go berserk when you use that attack.... let see um dmg+threat+ 2 buffs firing off, how much hate you think that is? Oh and did i state that if the attack gets resisted none of the effects work? Maybe i should whine about the fact that guardians get 2 AE taunts while zerkers only get 1 ? Stop whining about something that is basically moot now since CC is around the corner <div></div>
