fDo monks pull in your grps or raids?

<DIV>Was curious as to what happens in your groups and raids. Seems the groups I have done that in all most all cases its better for the guardian to pull. I get initial agro and keep healers with just one main target. Not to mention the less agro the monk gains from not pulling just allows for there dps. Like I said not down playing any class but just curious how it happens in your situation<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

On some raids its nice to have a seperate puller. Monk with FD or ranger who dies, either work ;P   Situations where this is the case, is where the mob is 1 group of a BIG ^^^ and some smaller ^^ and you want the maintank on BIG, and an offtank on the small. If the maintank pulls, he will usually get the entire encounter stuck to him due to reactive aggro. So to get around this, either a random ranger puller, or have the OFFtank pull, with the maintank burning a round of taunts + rescue to split off the big mob on the run back to the tanking spot. <div></div>

You might laugh at this but I came from EQOA. We used pet class's to pull raid mobs all the time so I'm used to it and inturn my guild that I play with on EQ2 is made up of allot raiders from EQOA. We use pets sometimes for hard pulls. The old pull and pill rutine <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. Never really have used any of our monks even though I'm sure they could do it but I know our main two conjour's atm are crazy mofo's and they just get all teary eyed when we ask them to pull. Other times the SK that's our MA and I just split stuff like the Ferriot zone (took us a week or two to get it down but once you do, for us it made the zone allot easier).  But thats just me two cents, I know there are many different ways to handle different situations and its always interesting to see how everyone ends up with the end goal but got there with a different strategy.
